EviCam is a forensic camera system built to reveal what the naked eye misses. By combining precision infrared lighting with controlled multispectral imaging, it uncovers latent fingerprints without touching, dusting, or altering the evidence. Designed for real-world forensic workflows, EviCam gives investigators a clean, non-destructive way to visualize prints on challenging surfaces. It was developed in collaboration with the Scientific Police Department of Spain, where accuracy, repeatability, and evidence integrity are non-negotiable.

How it works
EviCam illuminates a sample using multiple infrared LEDs at carefully chosen wavelengths and angles. As each wavelength interacts differently with surface materials and fingerprint residue, the system captures a sequence of images using rotating IR filters placed over the camera lens. By isolating specific spectral responses and blocking others, EviCam produces high-contrast fingerprint images.
The result is clear, powder-free visualization and keeps the sample intact.

Chances are I may not be able to give you all the details of this system for obvious reasons, but hey, if you are still curious or have any ideas where something like Evicam could be applied, maybe we can talk.
